I love how Trisk continues to grow and shift and support all artists in various stages of their artistic path. I am in awe of the generosity and commitment and support from the curatorial team, [and] the production staff. I choose Trisk because I always feel welcomed when I’m there and encouraged to continue reaching for my goals and my desires as an artist, building confidence in myself in this somewhat precarious career path.

[Our company] create[s] work that opens space for dialog, to have conversations about community, about difference, about celebrating those differences, about coming together and having those hard conversations. We try to do that through movement exploration and really build community. And to me, that's really in line with what Triskelion believes. This idea of building and growing community and using art as the catalyst for that.

I have rented space at Triskelion, rehearsed in Triskelion, performed at Triskelion and seen lots of shows at Triskelion and it's truly one of my favorite performing spaces in New York... Trisk just has a special place in my heart.

I would like to thank the gracious, patient, and OUTSTANDING team at Triskelion Arts for helping this fever dream of a show (Trisk Presents Hard/Femme Dances) come to life. Triskelion Arts has consistently been a champion of my work -and countless other artists- for many years now, and they deserve to be celebrated as the pillars of the NYC Dance Community that they are.

My first time at Trisk was back in 2019! Ever since, and the more I learn about the work and support for local artists Trisk has been doing, I feel so lucky to have this place as my creative safe place. As performers we often are thrown in to the race of capitalistic show biz and sometimes we are just forced to run without really knowing why…to have a place like Trisk that really supports local artists and connects with the community, both artists and audiences, is what really is important and valuable. The community and having a safe place for art and expression is what keeps me sane in this insane show biz world!
