Locating Lucidity
Christian will guide participants through his research sessions in development entitled "Locating Lucidity." Sessions are composed of a warm up/movement research utilizing nuance from long standing codified techniques in modern dance, ballet, jazz, hip hop and African styles with an emphasis on improvisational methods and potential for contact improvisation. These durational sessions utilize group check in and out as well as container for open dialogue and collective durational research.

Christian A. Warner is an interdisciplinary performing artist, choreographer, and director. His choreography and direction has been commissioned by Performa/Dance, Triskelion Arts, Owen/Cox Dance Group, Trevor Jackson, McKoy Dance Project, Ballet Co-Laboratory, James Madison University, Texas State University, Full Out Creative, Berit Ahlgren / Honeyworks, Demeatria Boccella, and the Blacklight Summit curated by Tariq O'Meally. As a performer, Christian’s dance company credits include Boca Tuya, NVA & Guests, Sidra Bell Dance New York, TU Dance, Owen/Cox Dance Group, Ponybox Dance Theatre and Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre. He has performed repertoire from creators Alvin Ailey, Bryan Arias, Raja Feather Kelly, Alan Lucien Øyen, Aszure Barton, Darius Barnes, Yoshito Sakuraba, Rena Butler, Stefanie Batten-Bland, Kayla Farrish, and Slowdanger.
