ABOUT THE ARTIST
Cayleen Del Rosario is a dance artist based in New York City. She earned a BFA from studies at NYU Tisch and Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, and is currently a master’s student at The New York Graduate School for Psychoanalysis.
Her work has been presented at Triskelion Arts, Movement Research at Judson Church, Provincetown Dance Festival, CPR Center for Performance Research, Truro Center for the Arts, Pageant, Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, The Tank, and other spaces.

Glistening bodies into communion, I say to you. In sweat. In sonic hypnosis. OH WHAT A DRAG TO BE IN DRAG, surrenders itself into a hamster wheel of success, allure, and failed performance. Through extracting consumerist hunger, performers journey through an oblivion of smeared eyeliner, 1 dance belt, and two pairs of bedazzled pantyhose. In an attempt to outperform ourselves, this work serves as a beacon for personal potential, and further, collective expansion.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lavy is a gender queer, New York City based, choreographic dance artist. Graduating with their BFA in dance from Marymount Manhattan College, their performance credits include works by Kyle Abraham, Andrea Miller, Jenn Freeman, and Nicole Von Arx. In 2021, Lavy founded VERBAL ANIMAL, a cohort of queer multidisciplinary collaborators. Following, Lavy’s work has been presented at the 14th St Y, WAXworks, TADA! Theater, 3 Dollar Bill, Laguardia Performing Arts Center and Triskelion Arts. Additionally, Lavy has received space residencies from MOtiVE Brooklyn and the international choreographic residency at Art Omi. Most recently, Lavy received a commission from Mare Nostrum Elements as a returning choreographer to premiere a new evening length work at Laguardia Performing Arts Center in February of 2024. Currently, Lavy is a Co-Producer for the NY show, Kiss My Face, while also performing and collaborating with NVA & Guests.
