2 photos put together. One of Hans, one of Ava.

Ava & Hans
O Mitote
Betrayal, Rage, Tequila Blanco.

“O Mitote “was the love child of Nate Carter and Mikaela Kelly (NDT). When these legends were at the Juilliard School, they were regular patrons at local watering hole/Mexican restaurant “El Mitote”. The piece was meant to pay homage to their “bomb-ass frozen margaritas” that Kelly and Carter loved to consume. An exploration of slow motion, fight choreography, and humor, O Mitote shook the Juilliard faculty and will be unearthed and performed just for YOU this evening.

Performers: Kelsey Rondeau as Ava Lanche; Nate Carter III as Hans
Music by Barbara Streisand and Neil Diamond

Hans and Ava have been enabling each other since they met on the Good Ship Lollipop in 1912. During the pandemic, they created the hit IG livestream show Call Me By My Venmo Name, which had over 22 different editions, including Now! That's What I Call Coronavirus!, Hans' Vodka Beach Party, Hans and Ava Ruin the Holidays, and Geriatric Park. You can see their antics live at Club Six26 in Jersey City.

Thanks to the Lost Immersive Team for commissioning this video in May 2021

pleasant surroundings

Created and performed by Nate Carter
Mix by Nate Carter
Music: i walk alone with acid - Pale Blue

Found in the early nineties in an aluminum garbage can, wanted in several states for arson, and beloved roommate to Ava, Hans is a director, dancer, and current rehearsal dictator at Hard/Femmes Dances. After cyber bullying the president of Juilliard to let him graduate with a BFA in dance, he set his sights of domination on the Mckittrick Hotel, where he currently plays everything. During the pandemic, he and Ava hallucinated to the point where they made Call Me By My Venmo Name, an instagram phenomena only to be described as "a hot steamy train wreck with great tits". In his downtime, he enjoys playing with his bird, Poblano Elizabeth Del Rey III, eating cheese, and receiving unsolicited nudes.

Special Thanks to Hard/ Femme Dances, Kelsey Rondeau, Enya, and my parents, Nate and Laurie for birthing me into this silly, scary world that I am currently conquering.
